Verizon to offer international roaming in Cuba

Verizon today announced that, starting next week, it will offer international roaming to customers traveling to Cuba, making it the first major US carrier to do so. Customers who opt into the Pay-As-You-Go International Travel option for their plans will be able to take advantage of the new package so long as they have a device that works overseas. The price for connectivity is fairly high, though, coming in at $2.99 per minute for talk and $2.05 per megabyte of data.
