The $17,000 Apple Watch will help sell this $26,000 Vertu phone

Vertu, Nokia's former luxury brand, announced a new smartphone today called the New Signature Touch. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and features a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a 21-megapixel camera, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 64GB of internal storage, and 4GB of RAM with leather and titanium used to encase the electronics. While the specs are respectable, what sets Vertu apart from commodity smartphone makers is its appeal to the luxury market.
