Star Fox Zero won't be coming to the Wii U until next year

Nintendo's Star Fox Zero was meant to be one of the Wii U's big releases for winter 2015, but in a post on Facebook today, the company announced that the game's launch has been delayed until early next year. A message from producer Shigeru Miyamoto said that while it was "technically possible" to release Star Fox Zero in time for the holiday season, the company wanted to "polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play." Unfortunately, this evaluation fits with our early impressions of the game, which seemed lumbered with a confusing and unintuitive control scheme.
