Amazon's fall pilots include shows from Sacha Baron Cohen and Louis CK

Riding high on a handful of Emmy wins for its celebrated comedy Transparent, Amazon has announced collaborations with a wide array of creative veterans from the worlds of both TV and film. The company is only trotting out six pilots that's on the low end compared to earlier pilot seasons, where they've cracked double digits but it's compensating by working with familiar, respected forces. Sacha Baron Cohen, Louis CK, and Nicole Holofcener are all involved in half-hour pilots, and Iron Man 3 director Shane Black is directing and developing an hour-long post-Civil War western called Edge.
